We would like to take this opportunity to introduce our company.
We PT. SEKAI MARITIME , which is a part of the internationals ship brokers & chartering group we are one of the world largest privately owned ship broking firm.
Briefly, PT. SEKAI MARITIME was established more than 5 years in Indonesia and we are today one of the leaders in our field. Our groups is in London, with 13 offices around the world, which are beijing, Shanghai, Hong kong, Singapore, Jakarta, Oslo, naples, zug (switzerland), Hamburg, new York, vancouver, and sydney; and we are currently in excess of over 400 brokers worldwide.
Our company do not own any vessels nor trade in any commodities which makes us fully independent in our advises and our role in representing clients in their shipping needs. We are also full member broker of bimco, baltic exchange, intertanko and intercargo.
Pt SEKAI MARITIME was established in 2001 to serve the indonesian exporters and importers to help them obtain better freight cost for their commodities. The company started up with only activities in the dry bulk sector with 5 staff members. Today we are 23 people in 5 departments as outlined below.
With the departments that we have today and the access into our groups we are able to serve our clients by offering a concept of a "one stop shop" which gives you the ability to work most of your shipping activities within mapmovers which should be more control efficient and as well cost efficient.
Introduction of our business scopes:
1. Dry cargo chartering
We are very active in cargoes involving coal, steel, rice, sugar, fertilizer, cement, grain, and agriculture products. We are handling sizes from 1000 up to 75, 000 metric tons.
2. Gas & chemicals
We are handling as well cargoes that consist glycol, styrene, methanol, caustic, alcohol, acids, vegetable oil/ molasses and cpp with sizes from 500 up to 15, 000 metric tons.
3. Sale & purchase (s+p)
Dealing with buying and selling vessel on behalf of clients in Indonesia and outside Indonesia. We are able to offer guidance on vessels available in the market for sale with prices and markets reports.
We share a good relationship with a large scale of the world's owners in all sizes via our group's network for easy communications and negotiation.
